Discover and learn about the wonderful abundance of invertebrates hiding in this unspoilt habitat. Meeting at the carpark for Hamptonne Country Life Museum, our Education Officer will guide you through our newly-created woodland, King Charles II Wood.
Suitable for children aged 5-11 (supervised by an adult please). Unsuitable for buggies. Tickets not required for accompanying adults.

In case you have not taken part in one of our bug-hunting activities before, please ensure that you wear closed-toed shoes and long trousers and sleeves. There are some wasps and stinging nettles in the area, and although the chances of contracting an illness from the bites (Lyme disease) are very low, ticks are active in long grass in summer. If you are concerned, please go to the Jersey Government webpage for more information.
All equipment will be provided, advice on clothing and info on meeting point will be sent prior to event start.
