Ouaisne Common- Wildflower Botany and Folklore Walk for Mother’s Day
March 19 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Free
Come and look for the first signs of spring with botanist Tina Hull on Ouaisne Common. Ouaisne is one of Jersey’s most important sites with regards to biodiversity and boasts a number of rare and uncommon species. The walk will be a mix of sight identification, environmental interpretation, local history and plant folklore. The terrain is uneven and wet in places; you might want to wear wellies for this walk.
Not Suitable for children under 16
For some plants you will need to bend to see them
No problem with dogs but they may get very bored as the walk doesn’t go very far!
Meeting Point: Ouaisne Car Park
Time: 10.30am –12 Noon
