The National Trust for Jersey hosts a variety of events and activities throughout the year that offer unique opportunities to enjoy our island in a special and memorable way.

These events provide exciting and inspiring opportunities to enjoy Jersey to its full potential. Waste Free Wednesday – Jars and bottles

Children are invited to come along to the Wetland Centre to create some beautiful decorations using upcycled materials

Families are invited to join our Education Officer to learn how to up-cycle your old bottles or glass jars into beautiful ornaments and night lights.

Equipment and decorative materials will be provided, plus spare jars and tealights, however we do encourage you to bring your own household “rubbish” for up-cycling. Be sure to save some old (clean!) bottles and jars for the activitiy.

Children to be accompanied by an adult, booking essential.

Suitable for ages 5-12 years old
