The National Trust for Jersey hosts a variety of events and activities throughout the year that offer unique opportunities to enjoy our island in a special and memorable way.

Our varied programmes include countryside walks and tours, concerts, workshops, black butter making and festivals to suit every taste. These events provide exciting and inspiring opportunities to enjoy Jersey to its full potential. Waste-Free-Wednesday – “Seaside Gardens” #LoveNature Festival

Come along to the White House (Le Don Hilton) and create a seaside garden using up-cycled materials

Children are invited to join our Education Officer to play and explore their creative sides by designing and making a seaside garden using found objects, natural materials collected on site, and waste packaging.

All equipment and some old materials will be provided, however we do encourage you to bring your own household “rubbish” for up-cycling.

Please save an old cardboard box (such as a shoebox) and any household ‘rubbish’ to decorate your gardens and bring them along for this activity.

Free for members, £5 for Non-Members.

Suitable for children aged 6 years and above, children to be accompanied by an adult please. Please note that tickets are only required for children (accompanying adults go free).
