The National Trust for Jersey hosts a variety of events and activities throughout the year that offer unique opportunities to enjoy our island in a special and memorable way.

Our varied programmes include countryside walks and tours, concerts, workshops, black butter making and festivals to suit every taste. These events provide exciting and inspiring opportunities to enjoy Jersey to its full potential. Waste-Free-Wednesdays – Birds, Bees & Butterflies – with Christine Witham

23 August 2023 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Children are invited to the Wetland Centre to learn how to create creatures with Christine

Children are invited to join our Education Officer and Christine Witham to make birds, bees or butterflies using recycled materials, beads, wire, feathers, paper and packaging.

Equipment and some old materials will be provided, however we do encourage you to bring your own household “rubbish” for upcycling. Please save paper and packaging (particularly the brown paper from mail order items) for this event.

Children to be accompanied by an adult (adults go free). Booking essential.

Suitable for ages 5-12 years old
